So I decided to start a new Jerusalem blog! I was going to try to make this one cuter than the last but it didn't work out so well! I need "how to make you're blog cute" lessons! But I LOVE Jerusalem! Learning Hebrew (hence the blog name), all the amazing people, the smell of spices in the old city, hummus at Lena's, the western wall, the garden tomb, toasted pitas with white chocolate, almond spread, getting proposed to by several Arab men, bartering in East Jerusalem, trips to Turkey (okay, I always thought that turkey was some cold, barren wasteland, but it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! And it has so much history! I totally want to go back!), delicious sorbet in West Jerusalem, yummy pastries at the Jewish open market, learning Arab folk dance, looking at all the beautiful olive wood nativities and carvings in Omar's (I could literally spend hours there, everything is just so beautiful! I sure wish olive wood wasn't so expensive though), field trips to places in the Bible every monday, old testament classes, church in the auditorium with huge glass panes over looking Jerusalem, the garden of Gethsemane, reading the Bible and actually understanding it, sunday night concerts, oh gosh I could go on forever! I love Jerusalem! I have just feel so blessed to be here! Here are some of the pictures of what I have been up to lately, sorry they are in a random order!
Natural hot springs in Turkey! So cool!
The burial grounds with tons of different types of coffins

One of our hotels in Turkey was right on the beach, but we werent allowed to swim in the ocean because there was no lifeguard, but it was still fun!In my FAVORITE town ever, Assos. The apostle Paul came here to teach, and it has the most gorgeous view, and the cutest little cobblestone streets and adorable little shops with the nicest little handmade things! I want to live here!
I love Assos!
I loved Ephesus!!!

If you bring me anything back, I want a scarf like one of those..........so what has been your fave place/experience so faR? I know you loved turkey...I also heard you got sick, not fun!
